Quality Assurance (QA) Team Lead - Tampa Office - Job Description
Overview
HealthXL provides virtual care services under the guidelines of Medicare’s Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs. The role of QA Team Lead requires in-depth understanding of the operational, clinical, and regulatory aspects of CCM and RPM. The QA Team Lead is responsible for a level of personal production, along with work allocation, scheduling, and supervision of QA Generalists. This full time, Tampa, FL based position reports to the Director of Clinical Operations.
Responsibilities
• CCM/RPM subject matter expert (SME) from a clinical, operational, and regulatory perspective
• Ensures all weekly, monthly, and adhoc QA production and quality goals are met
• Develops and maintains a strong grasp of CCM and RPM operational best practices
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulatory CCM and RPM compliance standards
• Provides workload assignments, scheduling, and daily supervision to QA Generalists
• Assists in resource planning and hiring of QA team members
• Schedules and leads weekly QA team huddles
• Audits QA work of QA Generalists to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy
• Regularly calibrates work of QA Generalists to ensure comparability of assessments
• Assists in design and update of QA templates to support compliance and quality objectives
• Maintains a personal level of QA production in support of overall volume goals (up to 50% of time)
• Provides, or directs QA Generalists to provide, coaching to CCs based on identified areas of improvement
• Recommends enhancements to QA process to incorporate both quantitative and subjective measurements (e.g., accuracy, completeness, clarity, documentation, and tone)
• Prepares and distributes weekly, monthly and adhoc QA reports to leadership
• As requested, participates in iCARE and process development/optimization meetings
• Collaborates with training team to provide ongoing refreshers and retraining to CCs
Qualifications

• Clinical background in nursing (active RN or LPN credentials)
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines and production volume expectations
• Proficiency with or willingness and aptitude to learn software applications (EMRs, iCARE, etc.)
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Analytical, detail-oriented and organized
• Problem solving and investigative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
