WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This is a professional exempt position, responsible for providing supervision to Support Staff delivering foster care and related services within Community Based Care.  Responsible for all aspects of permanency to include, but not limited to oversight and facilitation of staffing's and compliance with state mandated permanency measurements. Florida Certification Board certification required.
• With Program Director, address and assure the fulfillment of contractual services requirements and objectives.
• Oversee the facilitation of all staffings as dictated by contract, legal requirements, or best case management practices.
• Coordinate with Assistant Program Director and Quality Improvement Specialist to assure updated policies and procedures and other information pertaining to permanency.
• Will ensure follow up on all staffing tasks.
• Will maintain the staffing schedule and will be responsible for distributing the staffing schedule in advance.
• Will prepare and provide reports to the Assistant Program Director/Program Director and the funding agency as required.
• Participate in quality improvements committees, planning, and processes in CPS as related to Gulf Coast internal programs and DCF reviews.
• Assure compliance with CARF accreditation.
• Oversee and develop processes to ensure that all required participants receive timely invitations to staffing's.
• Will have general responsibility for permanency. Will be expected to monitor statistical information regarding permanency and will be able to measure agency performance against state requirements in an ongoing fashion. Will be able to develop ongoing strategies and action plans so as to bring shortfalls into compliance across predicted timeframes.
• Oversee tracking and research of legacy cases and develop creative solutions for permanency.
• Must be able to work closely with Lead agency. CBC staff and CLS will be attending certain staffing's in a consultative role. The Permanency Coordinator must be able to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including, but not limited to parents, caregivers, providers, and GAL.
• Must be able to develop and maintain a networked support structure in order to recommend appropriate services and providers as dictated by case circumstances.
• Supervise the Family Finder/Missing Child Specialist and Permanency Specialists positions and provide monthly documented supervision.

WHAT YOU NEED:
• Agency staff responsible for supervision shall have a master’s degree in social work or a related area of study from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years’ of experience in human services or child welfare programs, or a bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university or related area of study and four (4) years’ of experience in human services or child welfare programs. A doctorate in social work or a related area of study may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Related areas of study include bachelor’s or master’s degrees in criminology, psychology, sociology, counseling, special education, education, human development, child development, family development, marriage and family therapy, and nursing.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.
Florida Certification Board requires:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College or University.
• Case Management/Licensing: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
