Staff Internal Auditor
$60,000 - $70,000 + 10% defined annual bonus

We are currently performing an exclusive search for a Staff Internal Auditor with one of our flagship clients which is a nationally recognized Tampa Bay based company and a leader in their industry. The position is open due to a recent promotion, has phenomenal visibility and growth potential, excellent work / life balance and offers outstanding benefits. Our client is flexible to structure this role as 2-3 days remote / WFH.
Key responsibilities for the Staff Internal Auditor:
• Assist with developing detailed audit programs covering financial controls and SOX compliance.
• Assist with formulating standard audit planning documentation to determine scope and objectives.
• Develop and execute testing strategies for related audit programs.
• Assist the external auditors as needed with the quarterly and annual audit.
• Maintain effective communications with the Internal Audit team vas well as all levels of executive management.
• Determine cost effective solutions and process improvements for audit findings.
• Assist in developing audit reports for management as well as the audit committee.
Qualifications for the Staff Internal Auditor:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years professional experience in public accounting or industry
• CPA and / or CIA preferred
