To support that effort, we are looking for an experienced leader who will be responsible for the operational aspects of the program across all geographies and business units.This key role requires extensive experience in managing a complex global operation through leadership and influence. This is a broad and technical leadership role that covers the security spectrum from building to breaking in order to ensure that our products and operating environments are secure from the start and remain resilient to an ever-evolving threat. Your team is globally responsible for security architecture, security design, security reviews, security testing, security automations, red team emulations, security research & development, and managing the secure software development lifecycle and associated controls. Provide strategic direction, set objectives, and create the structure for the organization in a way that improves the impact of the team across all lines of business . This role has a high impact across the enterprise, and the selected candidate will engage with senior security, technology and business executives to affect change.What you’ll doResponsible for planning, executing, and assessing complex efforts along with providing high level vision to program/manager and or leadership while managing and or influencing objectives of complex efforts.Perform gap analyses between current usages of the tools and optimal usage based on business requirements.Create processes and leverage technology and service providers to support the goals of the Cybersecurity programLead the security assurance initiatives and make sure cloud, technology, infrastructure, and application security teams are navigating towards compliance to established best practicesSupport the teams to identify patterns that can be automated to ease the adoption of security controls and help the organization to shift left and achieve results and time to market with acceptable level of securityGather infrastructure, business and IT estimates and ensure they are developed using sound principles and judgmentDefine the deliverables, tasks, and timelines with the teams and drive them to completion for multiple programs within a workstreamAs a seasoned leader, you should support the team and organization as a people leaderTranslate technology constraints and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into system and security designs and processesServe as the liaison between the Enterprise Architecture and Information Security teams and enable their alignmentCollaborates with IT and Business partners to deliver security technology roadmapsCommunicate program status, issues, and risks to key stakeholders and business leadersWe’re looking for people who haveBachelor’s degree in a technical field including Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Physics or similar desired - experience in government, military or in other capacities with similar focus can be substitutedStrong leadership, technical and high emotional intelligence demonstrated engagement in security conferences, training, learning, associations is highly desired and fully supportedSelf-starter, technology and security hobbyist, enthusiastExtreme ownership and desire to create change and move the needle along with the ability to execute with disciplineRelentless focus on security, fearless to challenge the status quo (diplomatically)Able to operate in a fast paced environment with significant ambiguityQualificationsBachelors Degree Computer Information Systems10+ years relevant experienceExperience in delivering technical solutions from concept, selection, installation, testing and implementationExperience implementing operational plansExperience implementing infrastructureAdvanced experience with Information Security principles, practices, technologies, programs and procedures, accompanied by an understanding of risk management methodologiesAdditional InformationABOUT NIELSEN We’re in tune with what the world is watching, buying, and everything in between.
