Our national client is looking for (2) individuals in the Tampa market to work on their remote Legal Collections teams. Qualified candidates must live in Tampa in order to get set up with equipment and for monthly team meetings but this is a 100% remote role. Experience in legal or medical collections is required! Responsibilities
• Manage assigned book of business: Billing, collections, contractual postings, payments and adjustments of accounts for up to $30m+
• B2B Soft Style Collections Approach
• Evaluate and recommend referrals to agencies, law firms, financial assistance or bad debt
• Identify issues and submit corrective action recommendations to eliminate future denials
• Effectively manage and collect on a portfolio of accounts as they progress through the legal stream
• Analyze each customer’s financial situation and negotiate payment arrangements on behalf of firm
• Adhere to quality standards set by the firm and our client
• Adhere to compliance standards, applicable laws and regulations that govern third-party collections (i.e. FDCPA)
• Verify accuracy of payment postings and reimbursements and work to resolve any payment discrepancies
• Assist in the claim appeal process
