Practice Operations Consultant
The Practice Operations Consultant provides project management, coordination, implementation, and optimization of medical group initiatives as assigned. Ensures all BayCare and BayCare Medical Group departments and leadership are actively involved in projects and project timelines are maintained. This position monitors adherence to policies and protocols related to the clinical support and administrative workflows at all medical group site locations. Responsible for assessment of existing clinical and clerical workflows and recommending opportunities for improvement that results in efficiencies, compliance, quality, and/or safety. Anticipates and identifies potential legal, regulatory, efficiency or operational issues in workflows and partners with appropriate department leaders to propose new clinical or clerical workflows. Responsible for developing and maintaining training materials,and conducting training at the medical group locations including but not limited to patient management system, electronic medical record system, clinical or clerical workflows. Provides skills assessment based on position requirements. Required Bachelors with 5 years Medical Group Operations OR RN/LPN/MA with 5 years healthcare leadership OR high school diploma with 10 years healthcare leadership.
