Kelly Services is currently seeking a Lab Technician II to work onsite with a biotechnology company located in Tampa FL.
Duration: 1 year
Pay: $23 per hour
Employee in a R&D laboratory. Carries out the practical work in the laboratory like equipment cleaning, change overs, process execution, or physical testing of materials. Takes over responsibility for lab organization and upkeep with minimal assistance. Uses judgement based on practice and precedence.
+ Assists Research Scientists and Research Associates in execution of pharmaceutical processes.
+ Able to work with equipment for assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and trouble-shooting as needed.
+ Evaluates, calibrates and maintains equipment in the laboratory per SOP.
+ Established employee working with little or without supervision.
+ Generates and documents scientific results, is able to work with simple math equations and calculations.
+ Observes regulatory and safety compliance in the laboratory.
+ Supports projects in production or pilot scale facilities.
+ Plans own work load to timelines agreed with manager.
