Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Normal business hours, 8-5pm (M-F)
Description:
Experience in medical payment posting.
Posting payments and refunds, processing daily mail and correspondence, patient and payer phone calls.
Seven team members.
Opens and sorts daily mail, process daily correspondence from Lockbox, posting electronic and manual Lockbox payments, process return mail, answering patient and insurance phone calls
One year experience medical the medical industry and knowledge of medical payment posting.
Knowledge of EOB’s Copays/coinsurance/deductibles/denial codes and insurance allowable.
One year experience in medical postings.
Good balancing and reconciliation skills, good communication skills, strong and accurate 10 key skills, intermediate excel and Adobe PDF, experience in Allscripts and Athena PM systems.
