SUMMARY
The Senior React Developer is passionate about delivering exceptional products on a fast-paced development team. In this role, the Senior React Developer will have the opportunity to create, improve, and maintain proprietary, cutting-edge infrastructure solutions and products. The Senior React Developer will work on the web apps, mobile apps, and APIs powering our infrastructure solutions and internal tools.

This role reports to the Director of Development and will work closely with other developers, project managers, and support staff. This role will be responsible for interacting with external vendors through the development and delivery of new product lines.
Remote work available in most states or you can work in our Tampa, FL headquarters. We do not hire outside the U.S.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops new user-facing features from mockups and specifications.
Builds reusable code and libraries for scalability and future use.
Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Recommends updates and improvements to existing codebase and
applications when appropriate. Optimizes new and existing applications for
maximum speed and scalability.
Reviews proposed codebase provided by outside vendors for project
compliance with project specifications, security requirements, and industry best
practices.
Maintains existing software and creates new systems in a highly collaborative
environment.
Participates in product discussions, influences the roadmap, including
contributing to selecting and implementing the technical architecture.
Takes ownership and responsibility for new projects. 5%
Performs or reviews systems analysis, design, programming, testing,
debugging, and documentation for assigned projects.
Works closely with other departments to provide support, documentation, and
user training for new systems and major system enhancements.
Builds and maintains integrations between proprietary software and external
systems.
Troubleshoots and contributes to the diagnosis of issues arising from software.
NOTE: This may require work outside of normal business hours
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
EDUCATION:
Proven 5+ years minimum experience working on a variety of projects - including legacy projects or those built by others.  Proven 2+ years minimum experience reviewing and approving code
written by others.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to manage others expectations for both external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Ability to translate business requirements and designer sketches into clear, usable code.
Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate prioritization changes with leadership as when changes occur.
Ability to review the code of others, managing a codebase for release, and troubleshooting when necessary.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
