Role :- Oracle Performance Tuning expert (Instance tuning and SQL tuning)
Location- Tampa, FL
Job Description :-
Should be proficient (must have skill) in SQL performance tuning , analyzing explain plans , AWR , ASH,ADDM, SQLT ,AUTOTRACE reports – to help development team for quicker issue resolution.
Must understand Oracle RDBMS/RAC  Architecture.
Should be good with concepts of Partitioning, huge pages etc.
- Good in SGA/PGA tuning.
- Expert in understanding Oracle logical (tablespace, Data blocks, Segments etc.) and Physical (data file, OS block) architecture.
- Must be good in Linux Shell scripting
- Perform capacity planning across various database components either (SAN/ScaleIO) infrastructure and recommend optimal performance solution.
- Must be aware of new performance features introduces in Oracle 19c.
o Real-Time Statistics.
O Automatic SQL Plan Management
o SQL Diagnostics and Repair Enhancements.
O Automatic Indexing.
- Should be able to work on BAU deliverables and support in DB deployment.
- Good to have knowledge on Oracle replication via Golden Gate
- Good to have knowledge on Oracle EBR – Edition Based Redefinition at architecture level which ensures Zero downtime for application upgrades.
- Should have very good knowledge of database parameters that help to optimize performance ( pga_aggregate_limit, job_queue_processes)
- Flexible to work with different team working across globe different time zone.
