*****ATTENTION: This position is at a day program for adults with special needs and developmental disabilities. You must be CPR/First Aid certified and complete pre-employment trainings. PLEASE NOTE: You must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination.
Guardian Haven Academy, Inc. is looking for a part-time Direct Care Staff - Driver/Transporter whose main responsibility is to transport clients to their appropriate destinations.
***** ATTENTION: Transportation Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 8:30am and 1:30pm - 3:30pm (Morning and Afternoon Transportation Routes.) - Salaried position at $400 per week!
Other functions may include performance of CPR in an emergency situation and behavior assistance. Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
Applicant must have a valid drivers license with no suspensions or excessive speeding tickets.
Minimum Education, Credentials, Experience and Special Requirements:
• Required: High school diploma is required from an accredited high school or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a Level II background screening check and a local law check.
• Must be able to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training certifications
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the individuals and program.
