Pre / Post Sales Eng. - Cisco Data Center / Security Solutions
Enterprise Value Added Solutions Provider, leading Cisco VAR, and provider of Advanced Technology solutions including Enterprise Networking, Data Center engineering, Systems and Telephony solutions, Collaboration / Unified Communications, Network Security, SDN / SD-WAN / SDA, & Cloud / Managed Services solutions has immediate openings for experienced Cisco Data Center and Security focused Pre / Post Sales Engineers who have strong experience Designing & Engineering advanced Cisco hardware & software Services Solutions. This is an organization that is an established, national player in the space.
Excellent opportunity to work with a firm partnered with Cisco who additionally has an extremely broad portfolio of solutions that can be leveraged. Position will be REMOTE.

What You Will Be Doing
• As a trusted advisor, consultative solution engineering of Cisco Data Center Solutions / Services solutions for new and existing customers in geographic region.
• Drive adoption/onboarding of Data Center products, software and licensing
• Accelerate knowledge of Data Center Networking (DCN) Licenses (Essentials, Advantage & Premier Subscriptions)
• Drive technical adoption on Data Center Products
• Account/Opportunity Management.
• Helping Accoutn Managers losing business to hit targets.
• Work with partners and Team to scope and manage solution sales cycle.
• Attending industry/supplier events.
• Attend training classes as offered or directed
• Keeping up to date on trends, industry, competitors, etc.
What You Need for this Position
- -Experience as a Cisco focused Overlay or Pre / Post Sales Engineer in the Commercial, Enterprise, SLED and / or Fortune 1000 space is highly desired
• College degree or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years recent VAR industry sales or pre / post sales engineering experience selling Cisco Advanced Technology Solutions is sought
• Strong experience with Cisco Data Center solutions
• Strong experience with Cisco Security Solutions
• Proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Strong sales experience in Services / Solutions
• Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.
• Demonstrated technical and product knowledge of Cisco network solutions
• The successful candidate will have had a minimum of three to eight years of achieving sales goals and is comfortable with developing an account base, establishing relationships and closing viable business opportunities.
