Legends Hospitality is seeking a part-time IT assistant.  In this role you will provide Point-of-Sales (POS) support for Legends Hospitality concession locations at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.  The position’s primary focus is the deployment and tear down of POS terminals and related equipment as needed for events.  You will also be trained to become an expert on Bypass POS software to effectively provide end user support and perform POS troubleshooting.  This is a part-time position, with hours allocated based on event schedule.  This is an ideal opportunity for students seeking a part-time, entry-level position in the point-of-sales field or any IT-related field.  The person filling this position will have success if they have availability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with changing work priorities.  Responsibilities Provide level 1 support of all point-of-sale system problems and escalate when necessary Conduct stadium walk-through to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events Replacement of defective hardware before, during, and after events Diagnosis of software errors, network errors, and hardware breakage Aid in cable management efforts and maintain neat appearance of POS register areas Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all standards and practices Qualifications Knowledge in CAT5/6 crimping in different cable configurations. (Making LAN cables) Experience with Active Directory Experience with POS, preferred Oracle Micros POS Availability to work evenings and weekends in accordance with event schedule The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate’s degree Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in an efficient and timely fashion; strong verbal and written communication and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to adapt to environment changes immediately Highly effective oral presentation and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft applications to include operating system, office systems Ability to be on feet and walk long distances Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
