Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as SME Architect on projects across our Enterprise Systems team to ensure timely and accurate delivery and implementation of Azure environment and Multi-Cloud services solutions.
• Providing Microsoft Azure architecture collaboration with other technical teams including Infrastructure, CRM, Dealer Management, ERP & Reporting (PowerBI)
• Implementation and Delivery of Microsoft Azure projects.
• Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup).
• Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team.
• Collaborate and liaise with other Key stakeholders/ end users in the software development lifecycle - PMs, BAs, Testing etc
• Assist in transition of projects to Services teams.
• Experience in Network concepts- Network layouts, Express Route, Network Security groups, WAF, Interpret prebuilt network designs (call flows, network deployments), F5 experience as a proxy NVA
• Experience in Cloud Security implementation, Compliance review, PCI compliance, and Client
• Lead and/or participate the development or approval of technical solution designs and coordinate with Enterprise Systems leadership during the implementation of recommendations of Azure Cloud based SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Production environments.
• Responsible for the Enterprise Cloud Demand Management and leverage Azure cost control techniques including idle resources, optimization of Azure region and bandwidth costs, sizing compute instances and optimizing storage utilization.
• Lead root cause failure analysis of problems and assist in the development of Technical standards, corrective action and continuous improvement plans.
• Collaborate to set standard architectures, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and support of Azure environment solutions
• 5+ years senior level support in a multi-cloud infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience in migrating on premise workloads to the cloud
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Automation and/or Azure Resource Manager
• Experience with the Azure resources and services including App Service, SQL Database, Azure storage (Blob and Table), Kubernetes services, Azure Active Directory, Network Security Group, Virtual Machine (Windows and Linux)
• Experience with the development of operational support processes, procedures, and technical standards
• Significant technical knowledge in the following technical areas: IP internetworking, Wireless, WAN protocols, IP routing protocols, Server-based Operating Systems, Data Center and Outsourcing
• Demonstrated problem solving techniques and strong analytical skills
• Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills
