DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT Administrative & Clerical Support Hours: M-F, 8:30-5 Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: NE N20 - 17.7500 - 22.3500
# # # Hybrid position: 2 days remote, 3 days in the office. # # The Development Assistant provides administrative support to the Director of Donor Relations and Development Communications and to team members within that department, which is part of Development Services (Moffitt Foundation). This position exhibits a high degree of technical competence; interpersonal skills; attention to detail; independent critical thinking; flexibility; organizational skills; problem-solving skills; and verbal and written communications skills. Responsibilities: Acts as the lead administrative contact for Moffitt#s national Board of Advisors, working closely with the Director to provide assistance with scheduling meetings, reserving rooms, arranging for catering, and providing support to the annual meeting. Also works with Board of Advisors# members to coordinate travel and lodging arrangements as needed. Provides support for Donor Engagement, Donor Relations and Communications needs to assist with caterers, rental companies, printers, hotels and other vendors as needed related to cost estimates, billing and logistics. Will request Moffitt PO#s and track payments; will book rooms and track event details; and will create or edit Word, Excel or Power Point documents related to various projects. Schedules internal meetings and secures conference meeting spaces. Initiates and assists#Donor Relations and Development Communications##team members with#expenses and#travel arrangements. Provides secondary phone backup in the department of Development Services and additional support as needed within the Foundation. Provides secondary backup to senior executive assistant to the President of the Foundation, assisting with needs related to the calendar, preparation for meetings, and preparation for Foundation Board meetings. Credentials and Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED is required. Minimum of three (3) years office/clerical/administrative experience is required Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated keyboard skills. Ability to effectively and professionally interact with discretion with various constituents which include clinical programs, faculty, staff, vendors, donors and Board members. #
