Full Job Description
AV rated Insurance Defense law firm seeks bright and dynamic Litigation Paralegal to join their busy Medical Malpractice Department. As a member of the legal team, the paralegal will assist in all aspects of case preparation and file management through the various stages, up to and including, settlement or trial.
Duties:
Drafting and Filing of Pleadings and Motions
Assisting with Interrogatories
Communicating with Experts
Indexing Litigation Files
Detailed review and analysis of medical records with presentation of findings to multiple attorneys
Preparation of medical records summaries, trial exhibits and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial
Candidate must posses a minimum of 8 years of experience in civil defense litigation, general liability, personal injury defense and medical malpractice. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA certified program is preferred but not necessary . Candidates that do not meet the aforementioned criteria will not be considered.
