Full Job Description
The HelpDesk position is a great opportunity to work behind the scenes at Barbizon USA and have a tremendous impact on the success of all Departments! This is a part-time position in the Marketing Department and will provide an opportunity for you to work not only face to face with individuals throughout the building, but also be a member of a strong team of dedicated professionals. This role includes customer service and administrative tasks and provides an environment for self-directed fast-paced work flow.
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilties and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
⦁ Internal Customer Service – respond to requests for support and action from HelpDesk email account
⦁ First response HelpDesk support – assist with initial diagnosis of IT related issues. Includes troubleshooting and internal customer service then escalation when needed
⦁ Administrative Leads support – tracking of inbound packages with communication and follow up to promotions team
⦁ Inventory – maintain inventory count of all IT related hardware and ensure accurate reporting and tracking on shared company documents
Job Requirements
Summary of experience:
⦁ One to two years of either internal or external customer service
⦁ Driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Background in IT a plus, but not required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
⦁ Ability to work independently and part of a team
⦁ Strong work ethic
⦁ Organization and time management skills
⦁ Ability to meet deadlines
⦁ Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
$15/hour (29 hours total)
