USC is currently in search of Part-Time Recruiter (fully remote) that will report to our Human Resources Manager at our home office in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate is a seasoned recruiter familiar with all aspects of the recruiting life cycle and should be comfortable and experienced with sourcing and recruiting for a wide range of corporate, exempt positions. They should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, Indeed, Handshake, and Linkedin Recruiting, while being comfortable with HRIS systems for applicant tracking.
This is a non-benefits, temporary 4–6-month position with the opportunity to convert to permanent. Regular schedule is 22-27 hours per week and is fully remote.
Duties will include the following:
• Recruit and interview potential candidates for employment, meeting quarterly recruitment goals.
• Identify recruiting opportunities by researching new sources for talent, cultivating relationships with industry professionals, and networking with college placement officers and staffing company personnel.
• Manage all job postings and career profiles both internally and externally.
• Determine applicant qualifications by prescreening, interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Communicate employer information (i.e. benefits, perks, work environment etc.) during interview process
• Arrange management interviews and final interviews with HR Manager.
• Prepare job offers, answer candidate questions and negotiate offers.
• Once candidates accept, take them through pre-onboarding process by completing background checks, drug screens, setting up internal system access, and completing new-hire documentation in preparation for first day.
