Highlights:
As a Billing Assurance Analyst II, you support long-term client retention by ensuring that accounts are properly billed for their subscribed services. You improve client satisfaction by resolving moderate issues in collaboration with leadership and internal teams. You combine your billing expertise with your understanding of company objectives to exercise sound judgment that improves processes within your designated area of responsibility. You flourish in an office position and travel as needed to achieve company objectives. You report directly to the Supervisor of Billing Assurance for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
• Be an impactful member of the Billing Collections team through active and consistent support in all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
• Improve billing operations by reducing or eliminating billing errors and performing corrective actions as required.
• Ensure accurate billing by maintaining and administering the commercial contracts database.
• Produce and review reconciliation exception reports and related reports and review logic to make recommendations and enhancements.
• Research and validate client exceptions by using the related systems or available resources.
• Communicate issues by providing information to clients, sales team and operating units while interacting with all levels of the organization and outside parties.
• Maximize the department by addressing client exception resolutions, reviewing and revising the processes for maintaining commercial contract administration.
• Use sales entry and scanning document retention tools to ensure reporting measures client service.
• Provide feedback on existing reports and databases to create assessments or recommendations as requested.
• Monitor contracts with special billing arrangements or terms of contracts to ensure accurate billing.
• Improve processes or systems by conducting root cause analysis on client exceptions and recommending and implementing enhancements.
• Recommend billing system or order entry enhancements to reduce errors.
• Mitigate risks with federal government accounts by supporting monthly electronic invoice submission processes.
• Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Required keys for success:
• Two or more years of contract review experience.
• Two or more years of business analysis experience.
• Two or more years of CSG or ICOMS experience.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Understanding of the process flow.
• Track record of interpreting service contracts that pertain to client billing.
• Familiar with the client credit process.
• Familiar with navigating and extracting data from the ICOMS or CSG billing systems.
• Ability to interact proficiently with peers, client and other professionals.
• Proven organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to maintain poise and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
• Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of the organization, vendors, service providers, clients and prospective clients.

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
Your education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
