Full Job Description
Our firm is growing! We are expanding our Operations department and are in immediate need of Logistics Coordinators. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply ! Training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting logistics operations by ensuring every customer shipment loads and delivers on time. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position. We are a fast-growing company with opportunity for upwards mobility.

Logistics Coordinator responsibilities:
• Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders
• Ensure quality of all services and processes
• Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profitability
• Arrange same-day pickups whenever possible
• Assist team in all logistics operations functions as needed
• Communicate with carriers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channel
Logistics Coordinator skills:

• Need to be solution oriented and work well under stress
