The Information Designer will support the WDI Business Planning and Integration Planning Studio which drives strategic alignment and process improvement throughout the WDI business. The team works with the other WDI planning studios and projects management teams and external to WDI including Operations, Finance, Marketing, & Global Business Development to manage and evolve master plans for all global locations to drive the greatest business and strategic value.
What we’re looking for…
An Information Designer will manage a variety of visual representations of strategies, process, plans, and data from inception through production. You will design presentations, reports, and exhibits that are adaptable for a variety of different audiences and mediums to clearly communicate Walt Disney Parks and Resorts planning.

Responsibilities :
• Design, create, and execute compelling presentations, reports, exhibits, and assisting visuals to various related Studios for internal & external presentations
• Create new ways of visualizing information and update existing templates
• Identify relevant assets and information to assemble presentation materials
• Perform research and reconciliation to provide reference materials
• Perform different basic technical tasks and presentation preparation including plotting/printing presentation materials, gathering required images and visuals, maintaining and updating recurring reports and presentations
• Collaborate/coordinate with other team members/departments as part of a larger, multi-disciplinary team of varying backgrounds
• Contribute to the culture and community of the Studio
• Direct the work of additional designers and/or intern(s)
Basic Qualifications :
• Minimum three years' experience in Information Design, Graphic Design, or related practice
• Visual design background with experience in both print and digital mediums
• Ability to analyze data and complex information and translate into engaging messages accessible to a wide audience
• Demonstrated thoughtful design, typographic skills, color theory, and judgment in solving layout and hierarchy challenges
• Demonstrated mastery of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Keynote
• Diligent worker that provides extremely high-quality materials on short timeframes
• Communicate effectively, verbal and written, with other team members and other groups to ensure content is accurate and appropriate
• Collaborate in a diverse team environment
• Listen and ask questions to understand core goals within each project with a high-level understanding of how each piece of information relates
• Strategic & creative thinker with an understanding of information and data storytelling
• Knowledge of UI and UX as it applies to Information Design
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft office (specifically Excel)
• Experience with Google Earth Pro
• Demonstrate basic business acumen skills including problem-solving and strategic thinking
Required Education :
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university majoring in Graphic Design (or comparable major)
