Job Summary:
The IT Field Applications Manager III leads a team of IT professionals to deliver best-in-class touch applications for our field teams. Helps provide continuous improvements to the base application by engaging with field teams and applying feedback. Leads and drives application development throughout the expansion of this tool.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Drive a team that develops best-in-class, designed-for-touch applications
• Deliver a platform that that meets expectations of stakeholders, including field teams and upper management
• Manage all aspects of the development cycle from feedback to deployment
• Organize and optimize a Rapid Development team schedule to ensure clear visibility to delivery
• Coordinate on device deployments to ensure compatibility
• Lead and Participate in FieldCore's involvement in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance
Testing (UAT)
• Manage the resolution of technical issues identified by FieldCore field employees through ticketing system
• Drive a continuous improvement process between FieldCore field employees and the Live Outage Team
• Develop, track, and maintain Key Performance Indicators for the Team
• Travel may be required
• On-site work may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Systems or related field, or equivalent required
• 10+ years in either field service or informationsystems development
• 5+ years managing/developing employees
• Experience working in matrixed organizations
• Experience with AGILE or Rapid Development
• Mobile Application / Design for Touch Experience
• Ticketing Experience (ServiceNow or similar)
• English proficiency required
