The Technician I, Formulation position will perform any process duties associated with producing bulk pools of bacterial and viral antigens for filling by the Filling department. Production will occur in a large or small volume manufacturing facility producing vaccines within company guidelines and regulatory agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the Batching production schedules by following site and departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Prepare equipment to be sterilized by autoclaving
• Sterilize process equipment (Steam In Place (SIP))
• Collect and submit samples to QC using proper documentation and process
• Perform cleaning of stationary processing equipment (Clean In Place (CIP))
• Perform cleaning of mobile processing equipment
• Maintain clean work environment
• Complete all designated training programs for various job functions
• Perform production tasks with concurrent manufacturing record keeping
• Material reconciliation with appropriate documentation or Oracle application
• Communicate process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor
• Escalate events and concerns to supervisor
• Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to HSE, Lean principles, and company values in all work related activities
• Understands the importance of and is able to comply with governmental agency guidelines, site and departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Other assigned duties and projects deemed appropriate within the position scope
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or 1 years related experience
• B.S. Biology or related field (preferred)
• Experience in Pharma/Bio cGMP (preferred)
• Attention to details in all aspects of the job
• Highly motivated
• Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
• Legible handwriting
• Basic math skills
• Microsoft Office computer skills
• Works well as an individual and in a team environment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
