The System Administrator is a direct report of the Director, Customer Success and will be responsible for the optimization of the enterprise systems infrastructure; including but not limited to network connectivity, server deployments and remote staff user experience. They will support technical requirements in day-to-day operational functions such as the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of standard hardware/software systems technologies.  They will provide direct support to external users on software applications including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Cornerstone on Demand, Namescape, Sharepoint Online, Workplace in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and affiliated agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead with the IT team on evaluations and improvements of network & communication solutions.
• Support the organization's technology equipment and IT assets which includes installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of standard hardware and software systems technologies while ensuring optimal performance.
• Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors.
• Assist in the development and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Support development and implementation of security policies regarding server access and best practices for PC and wireless access management.
• Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
• Experience with Active Directory, group policies and integrated technologies such as Cornerstone on Demand and Namescape.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Related Work Experience
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or equivalent experience.  Any of the following in lieu of a degree; MCSE and/or CCNE certification.
Years of Related Work Experience: 5 years minimum experience in the following areas:
• Advanced Network administration
• Enterprise level Backup solutions
• Antimalware, and patch management software
• Help desk and imaging solutions.
• Cisco device administration
• Microsoft Operating systems and business applications
Travel <5%
