Full Job Description
SUMMARY: WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor dedicated to providing outstanding program management, engineering, logistics, and operations support to Department of Defense customers. This position is for a Program Manager that will work under the direction of the President and provides competent, consistent, and effective day-to-day management of relevant Department of Defense contracts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Researching, developing, recommending, coordinating, and monitoring labor, time, material, and travel requirements to ensure contract deliverables are timely and within budget; coordinating with stakeholders and customers to define and/or refine contract requirements/deliverables and resolve issues.
• Developing and communicating work standards, goals, assignments, and schedules to contract team members; educating contract team members and external agencies on program mission and capabilities.
• Monitoring pertinent industry and commercial trends and events; researching and evaluating information from disparate sources regarding potential novel solutions; identifying emerging requirements and capabilities gaps; informing leadership of requirements which can be addressed with technology.
• Developing and briefing routine and ad hoc project- and program-level white papers, funding requests, contract modifications, technology briefings, executive summaries, and requests for proposals.
• Identifying and assessing new business opportunities; conducting capture planning and execution; providing proposal support.
• Coordinating, attending, and facilitating conferences, demonstrations, shows, and field experimentation and assessment events.
• Managing integration of software, hardware, and communications technologies
• The incumbent applies strategic, operations, procurement, technical, contract, personnel, and financial management expertise towards the coordination of resources required to support contract tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of eight (8) years of recent, relevant Program Management or Project Management experience working with the DoD; five (5) additional years of recent, relevant experience can substitute for the degree requirement.
• Proficiency in using various software, applications, and programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of government requirements identification and evaluation processes and techniques.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior military officers and senior government civilians.
• Experience with government acquisition processes/procedures and PPBES desired.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Military background or familiarity with military command and control structures.
• Possess a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, federal, state, and local agencies.
• Demonstrate time management, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently react to shifting program requirements and work in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
SECURITY CLEARANCE : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
