Software Engineering Manager

Primary Objective:
Spectrio is one of the nation's leading end to end technology-enabled audio and video marketing companies, providing professional content and managed services on a monthly subscription basis. We are looking for a key technology leader to lead our technology organization in Charlotte as we work on new and
exciting technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
? Work collaboratively with company leaders to help shape product strategy and deliver impactful products for our customers
? Define and maintain technology objectives and initiatives
? Lead technology team responsible for all software and hardware
? Be a true leader for your team and act as a technical mentor
? Manage all technology activities within a department including design, development, production and testing
? Oversee project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget
? All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
? 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
? 2+ years of experience directly managing Software Engineers
? Experience with OOP and software design skills
? Strong ability to develop systems that meet architectural objectives including reusable, scalable code
? Manage all engineering activities within a department including design, development, production and testing
? Analytical and detail-oriented with decisive judgment skills
? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field preferred
Technical Qualifications:
? Experience with managing people and projects on multiple tech stacks including: .NET, Java, Ruby, Python, Javascript
? Cloud hosting services, specifically Amazon AWS
? Mobile development (Android, iPhone)
? Container services, e.g. Docker
? Continuous Integration
? Linux experience a plus
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct Reports include up to 16 software engineers.
