Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to experience working in a fast paced, agile, entrepreneurial environment, in small to medium sized multidisciplinary teams, with an emphasis on collaborative skills and the ability to create scalable, extensible systems, executing the complete software development lifecycle across a range of innovative Android, iOS and IoT products used in the marine industry.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
The majority of the work will be intense development and coding for mobile platforms
Participate in the full software Lifecyle of our mobile solutions with emphasis on complex coding activities
Keep up with changing user requirements and fast paced development cycles
Understand functional requirements, prepare implementation strategy, estimate timelines, participate in unit integration and system level testing
Create quality code based on working with architects, developers and subject matter experts
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the business vision of improved user experience
Work with life-cycle management tools for defect tracking, source code repositories, etc.
Participate in peer reviews and QA processes
Collaborate in developing test strategies and objectives
Create application and API documentation as needed
Preferred Experience
2+ years of Xamarin Application Development including native Xamarin.Android
C#, Visual Studio for Windows
Demonstrated use of proper application architecture supporting multiple device types
Understanding of relational databases for mobile (SQLite, etc.)
Familiarity with NUnit and/or Xamarin.UITest and/or VS App Center
Understanding of localization best practices
Experience with 3rd party products for Xamarin (Syncfusion, etc.)
Experience with Azure DevOps / TFS / Git
2+ years of Software Development - .NET full stack
Experience working in a highly collaborative team environment
