Full-Time Tampa Job Details Description Core-Mark International is looking for a Linehaul Driver Class A CDL A Doubles Nights in Tampa to Miami, Florida! This Line Haul Driver position requires doubles endorsement. Position Summary: This a CDL-A (doubles) shuttle driver position running 5 nights per week. The Line-Haul shuttle runs Sunday night through Thursday night (off Friday night and Saturday night). We are closed weekends (except for certain contingencies). The shuttle driver departs Tampa with two 28’ reefer pups and brings them to Miami. Once in Miami, the shuttle driver will drop and post trip the 2 loaded trailers, then hook and pre-trip empty trailers and returns them to Tampa. This is roughly a 12-hour duty tour each night from approximately 10p – 10a Responsibilities: · Safety – operate all vehicles in accordance with safety protocols and procedures. · Shuttles Driver – responsible for running Shuttle from Tampa to Miami and back. o Perform proper DOT/CSA inspection on assigned tractor/trailers. o Operate vehicle within DOT regulations for safety and HOS. o Verify loaded trailers have correct route loaded in proper stop sequence. o Verify trailers are hold proper temperature. o Verify ramps and ladders are in proper working condition REQUIREMENTS: · Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement. · One year of Class A driving experience preferred. · Previous experience pulling doubles, strongly preferred. · Acceptable driving/MVR record. · High School diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Ability to successfully pass a background check and a drug test. · Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. · Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
