Job Summary for Junior Analyst – 2-3 years’ experience
As a member of the IT and Production Team, the Junior Analyst will work closely with other team members and the Analytics Manager to ensure that high-quality data products are created and delivered per timelines established. This position also requires basic IT support skills such as installing and configuring computer software, setting up new user accounts, and coordinating with our external IT support partners to resolve technical issues.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented with a natural analytic way of thinking.
Direct Responsibilities for Junior Analyst:
• Analyze data, identify anomalies, and provide usable insight to internal and external customers.
• Build custom data deliveries using data analytics tools.
• Work with the CSG IT and Production team on order generation and process-oriented complex projects.
• Gather information, document processes, and assist in the configuration of solutions.
• Coordinate with external tech support partners to resolve technical issues.
• Support IT team with other duties as assigned.
• Stay current with data analytics techniques/technologies.
Requirements for Junior Analyst:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 2 years’ experience working with Excel creating detailed spreadsheet reports.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office products.
• Working knowledge of relational databases as well as unstructured data.
• Detail-oriented – quality and precision-focused.
• Positive attitude and team oriented-mentality.
Experience:
• Excel: 2 years (Required)
• Relational Databases: 1 year (Preferred)
• SQL: 1 year (preferred)
• Data Analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
