Job description
We are looking for a Yard Worker/ Truss Stacker for a growing team at a manufacturing and distribution company in Gibsonton FL . We provide building materials for the residential building market statewide with locations in Jacksonville, Sanford, Clermont, Melbourne, Winter Haven, Tampa, and Fort Myers.
Responsibilities:
· Stacking trusses in a neat orderly fashion
· Checking for quality issues (i.e missing plates, plain, bad lumber etc.)
· Banding bundles according to SBCA guidelines
· Stacking truss bundles by job in yard organized and stored off the ground
· Loading trucks when needed
· Keeping area clean and picked up
· Packaging truss spacers by job
· Logging in and out of MVP
· Checking off truss packages when stacked and banded
· Anything else asked of them
Job Requirements:
• Experience needed
• Strong work ethic
• Effective communications, both verbal and written
