Environmental Services Attendant, PRN, Athens
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for cleaning floors, furniture, windows, walls, following established policies and procedures in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or G.E.D preferred.
Experience is desirable but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided.
Follows oral and written instructions and communicates effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains in-patient/out-patient floors.
2. Maintains equipment
3. Adheres to chemical usage procedures.
4. Maintains adequate supplies.
5. Practices universal precaution.
6. Maintains clean storage and supply closets.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
-Knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes preferred.
-Ability to make minor decisions concerning prioritizing work assignments.
-Aware of potential impact to facility and patients when performing cleaning functions.
