High Level Mission Statement
To support the quality and delivery goals of Unit Build production.
High Level Statement of the Role
The Unit Build FQA and Pack Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality specifications are met as the product is being built, and packaging and moving the product per the operating instructions.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities • Performs visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels of in process and finished level products
• Responsible for inputting defect data into Traceability System
• Be able to pull up Product documentation in Traceability System
• Ensures products are being built to process documentation
• Responsible for primary communication of findings/quality issues to production staff
• Perform 1st Article Inspection activities
• Perform end of line auditing
• Performing process audits as time allows
• Work to meet production and quality department goals
• Packaging of product as required by customer based on visual aids
• Verify requirements in system (job, partials, etc.)
• Scan ready for pack product into Traceability System
• Complete documentation requirements for all shipments. Ex. Master ship labels, serial number lists, certificate of conformance as required
• Wrap product and move to shipping dock
• Identify and be involved in continuous process improvements
• Backup for Final Quality Inspection as time allows with training
• Other duties assigned
