A Freight Hauler removes product from trailers at the dock and stage for the receiving checker. Transfer product from frozen and dry receiving docks and stage in various warehouse areas.
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Mon - Fri: 4:30 PM to finish
• Pay: 16.29/HR plus 1.00 shift premium

Freight Handler
What can you expect from the job?
• Remove product from trucks with a power ox or standup docker hilo.
• Keep product organized on the dock according to which truck or door from which it is removed.
• Communicate with the person (lumper or driver) who is doing the sorting and segregating of the load.
• Inspect product for concealed or regular damage; make sure pallet quality and type is up to standard.
• Maintain neat and clean receiving door area.
• Complete Load Inspection forms.
• Communicate with the checker on load issues.
• Assist lumper/driver with product ti/hi issues.
• Ensure all products are secured on the pallets.
• Transfer product from Receiving areas to various warehouse staging areas
• Adhere to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
Requirements:
• High School / Equivalent preferred
• Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) and understand the basic functions of an RF hand held computer
