Parker+Lynch is looking to fill a Corporate Accountant job in Dallas, TX. This position will be seen as a growth position within the company and will be groomed for progression.
Responsibilities
• Perform monthly close functions including the posting of accruals and deferred revenue entries.
• Prepare journal entries, review and post the journal entries created by other staff, prepare account reconciliations
• Assist with preparing financial statements, analyzing variances and create other ad hoc financial reports as needed
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications
• BBA in Accounting of Finance
• 2+ years of previous experience in accounting including experience with full general ledger responsibilities
• Experience with accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
