Bridgelink is seeking highly motivated and ambitious leaders with a passion for clean energy to join our team that is developing, constructing, and owning renewable energy projects in the U.S. This position would help expand the company’s financial experience and reporting for utility size solar and wind projects. We expect to develop at least 3.0GW of power by 2023.
Reports to
• Controller
duties
• Maintains relationships with surety company, brokers
• Directly responsible for securing any and all bonding needs for the company and renewable energy projects in the U.S.
• Monitor any active bonds on projects
• Maintain bonding forecast for the company consisting of 8-10 active projects per year
• Provide guidance to optimize cash-flows
• Work with Operations Team on maintaining visibility on bonding needs for the company
• Maintain 12 month forecast for bonding needs
• Analyzes fees, structure and make recommendations on best structure
• Prepare weekly, monthly reports on bonding and recommendations, status, etc.
requirements
• At least 10 years in the bonding industry and senior level positions of progressive responsibility
• Has deep relationships with surety companies, bonding brokers, and bonding companies in the U.S.
• Familiar with renewable energy and construction projects bonding needs
• Very proficient in bonding terminology
• Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferred
• Must possess a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of financial management and possess the ability to effectively monitor and control expenses
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities
• Works well with people and teams
