Full Job Description Boardwalk Pipelines, LP primarily provides transportation and storage of natural gas and liquids for our customers. Additional information about the Partnership can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com.
We are currently looking for a Manger, Measurement Services for our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will provide leadership for all field measurement activities including design, operation and maintenance of measurement, quality and control equipment utilizing the latest technology and focusing on increasing measurement accuracy and reliability while reducing natural gas and liquids Lost And Unaccounted For (LAUF) levels. You will drive common practices, procedures, personnel training and evaluation activities, support Codes and Compliance activities through resource dedication for PHMSA Audits and Operator Qualification task development and develop measurement capital and expense budget for global measurement, quality and control initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SCADA and back office Measurement Systems
• Organization, delegation and time management skills
• Financial acumen to develop and analyze Capital and
• Expense budgets and analyze Loss and Unaccounted For results
• Business acumen to interface with Commercial Groups and Customers
• Capable of managing distributed assets including personnel
• 5 years of fluid measurement experience in a natural gas or natural gas liquids environment
• Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with GMAS (current BWP measurement system)
• Experience working on technical committees to further measurement R&D through various industry consortiums such as Pipeline Research Council International
• Working knowledge of BWP pipeline tariffs and the measurement/quality sections of product agreements
• Experience working with Legal Group, Commercial Group and Customers on developing Interconnect, O&M, Data Share agreements
• Well versed in gas and liquid measurement equipment, processes and regulatory standards including AGA, API, GPA, ASTM and PHMSA
• Chemistry background/experience related to natural gas, natural gas liquids and petrochemical plant requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
