Construction Superintendent

Jagoe Homes is seeking a full time Construction Superintendent in the Bowling Green and Owensboro area. We are a family-owned New Home Builder and Community Developer. We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of the home building process from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow him or her to take control of the project and produce unmatched construction results on a strict time frame.

Responsibilities and Skills:
• Maintain strict construction schedule, oversee quality, and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate all construction services, meet OSHA standards and Building Codes
• Maintain a professional, working relationship with all customers
• Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field
• Maintain a daily job site log
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry
• 2+ years of residential construction industry
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and associated software
• Experience working on smartphones, laptops and tablets
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
