Description: Analyst I, Billing Job Locations US-KY-Owensboro ID 2022-1772 Category Rates Type Full-TimeOverview This position is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of transportation, storage, and domestic shipper invoices. This position also assists in the closing process of the gas accounting department. In addition, this position participates in the ongoing testing and improvement of our CSI customer service system. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to:Participate and assist in the monthly closing processes of the gas accounting departmentPrepare invoices in an accurate and timely mannerPrepare journal vouchers monthly in an accurate and timely mannerPrepare account analyses to ensure data integrityWith limited assistance, answer data requests as neededWork with customers to answer questions and further the interests of Southern Star Central Gas PipelineOther duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum:Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or other business-related degree and/or equivalent experienceEntry-level to 3 years' experienceExcellent computer skillsLeadership skills, goal oriented, integrity, good decision maker, excellent customer skillsWorking knowledge of the budget processPreferred:Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customersProficient with Microsoft Excel Proficient with Microsoft Access and/or PowerBIAbility to query information from database(s)Ability to prioritize and complete assigned duties on timeWorking knowledge of financial accounts#usatoday Employment Type: Full-time
