Description:
Client needs a PC Deployment technician to work in their Kentucky location. Duties include:
Install new workstations and transfer of data
Install printers, monitors, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software problems.
Taking support calls from the helpdesk.
Pushing software to users new machines with SCCM.
Imaging new machines for next roll out.
Installing components for lab machines (e.g. serial cards smoke devices).
Qualifications:
• Hardware and Software Troubleshooting for computers, servers, network gear
• Experience with Cisco Network systems
• Experience with Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 OS
• Experience with Apple Mac/OSX
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Office, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Build and deploy Laptops, Desktops, Printers and network switches
• Experience with Audio/Visual support with Miracast, Blue Jeans, MS Hub
• Provide end-user support on desktops, printers, network connectivity
• Run tickets on hardware and network related issues
• Deskside Support covering Software and Operating Systems for Example Encryption, anti-virus login scripts Active Directory, Group Policy Objects.
• IMACDs – Install, Move, Add, Change, De-install of hardware and software
o Ad hoc (ongoing, run rate requests)
o Refresh (managed or large scale deployment)
o Project Management Office (PMO) services for client scheduling, etc. for refresh or other IMACD type of activity
• Hardware Break Fix Services for End User Devices
o Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, Thin Clients, Printers, others
o HP and other manufacturers
o Direct the resolution for in warranty, out of warranty, enhanced service levels, HP and other manufacturers
• Software Break Fix Services
o Reinstallation\removal of non functioning software.
o Providing advice and recommendations to End Users on desktop business tools and commercially available software.
o Provide reasonable effort\assistance in support of End Users applications.
• VIP (very important person) Support
• Hands & Eyes Support – Provide support under the direction of another delivery unit
o Onsite Support for remote Data Center and Networks engineers
o Swapping Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) units, rebooting servers, movement and relocation of telephone handset, verify network connectivity on various devices.
