We are a locally owned and operated Medicare and Medicaid certified home health agency in Evansville, IN. At Better Living Home Health Care we are dedicated to keeping our clients happy, healthy and at home! We are currently accepting applications for our Director of Clinical Services position.
This position is the leader of our Skilled Care Agency. The person that is successful in this position will be an outstanding communicator, an effective leader, and one who is focused on patient care.
Job Requirements:
• Manage and help lead all nursing personnel operations.
• Develop short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
• Plan and oversee intake, admission, nursing, and patient care processes.
• Respond to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
• Hire and train new nursing staff members.
• Evaluate staff performance and prepare accurate reports detailing your findings.
• In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry.
• Current CPR qualifications.
• Aptitude for problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Must be able to oversee infection control responsibilities
• Must be able to provide direct nursing care as necessary
• Must be able to perform functions of a staff nurse as required

Qualifications:
• Excellent communications skills
• RN (Required)
• Supervising Experience: 1 year
• Proven leadership experience required
• Process focused
• Solution oriented
• Ability to understand the rules and regulations and guide the team to meet or exceed those regulations.
• Must be able to understand financial implications of decisions and how to successfully grow case volume.
• Home Health experience in a supervisory role is required

Required education and certifications;
• Associates Degree
• Active Indiana RN License in good standing
