Debbie’s Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Owensboro, KY.
Salary could range from $25-$35 /hour depending on experience.  This role will also be eligible for an annual bonus of $5,000 for 90% or more uptime
Position Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic is a full-time position that is responsible for various maintenance functions including overseeing preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting equipment issues, repair of equipment, and the occasional emergency fix that is needed. Each of these jobs are worked on with an eye towards maximizing plant efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities
• Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production.
• Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection of all machinery.
• Work with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiency
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
• Experience with food packaging machines is required. Examples: Multivac Tray Sealers, Multivac Thermoformers, Weber Slicers and other equipment
• Experience with process equipment such as Weber Slicers, Pick and Pack Automation is required
• Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
• Able to read engineering schematic such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic
• Experienced in HVAC a plus
• Pneumatic Equipment
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work in refrigerated environment
• Fixed daily hours Monday - Friday
• Occasional overtime/weekend work as needed
