KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Mobile Development to join our Digital Nexus organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide technical management for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms
+ Manage multiple development projects, working closely with IT and business management to identify and translate complex business requirements into architectural design
+ Provide technical consulting and leadership, identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives; manage relationship with clients, ensuring high standards and quality of technical solutions, keeping abreast of latest technology developments
+ Own technical change management, source code and technical documentation, utilizing best practices, Custom Off the Shelf (COTS) and Internal Apps
+ Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solutions for the systems design, while providing a solution that meets the business' strategic objectives; include the integration of existing code-sets and/or components as part of the overall design solutions where practical; document and test using proven industry standard code analyzing tools, implementing and providing ongoing support for the applications
+ Technical lead in charge of Mobile applications development and support; oversee the development for custom Mobile applications; act as an expert technical resource to development staffs in all phases of development and implementation process
Qualifications:
+ Minimum five years professional technical experience; minimum two years' experience working with React Native; minimum four years professional software development experience; experience with JavaScript, Angular, AngularJS, Node.js and REST
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
+ Extensive working experience of Service frameworks from concept to implementation and with MS SQL and SQL programming
+ In-depth and hands-on knowledge of the system development life cycle, the client area's functions and systems as well as application program development technological alternatives
+ Proficient in industry standard best practices, which include but are not limited to Coding Standards, Coding modularity/Re-use, Application Design/Prototypes, Coding analyzer/profiling Toolsets; experience of Software Architecture and Design Patterns; experience in Cross-Platform Mobile Development using React Native based mobile app
+ Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ; understanding of REST APIs, the document request model and offline storage; strong understanding of SOLID design principles of programming, OOP and Agile Methodologies (preferably SCRUM)
