### Power your education! Tell us what _The Power of Being Understood_® means to you in a 30 second video. The [RSM US Foundation](https://rsmus.com/who-we-are/corporate-responsibility/rsm-foundation.html) will again award 10 students with a [$10,000 scholarship each](http://rsmus.jobs/tp/rj6.H9SP.y-K), an invitation to an RSM information session and an interview with the firm for a future internship.  Scholarships will be paid on behalf of the awarded student, directly to the college or university they atttend. ### How to apply - Track down your unofficial transcript - Craft a short statement (200 characters or less) describing what makes you unique - Create a 30 second video that demonstrates what _The Power of Being Understood_ means to you  _Use original content only - capture only yourself, selfie-style, not other people, photos, music, videos, or unoriginal content. Keep it simple! Failure to follow video guidelines may render your scholarship application ineligible._ - Are you part of a historically underrepresented racial or ethnic population? Simply check the box at the end of your application to opt-in for the Power of Inclusion Scholarship in Honor of Richard Caturano. [Learn more](https://rsmus.com/who-we-are/corporate-responsibility/rsm-foundation/university-giving/power-your-education-scholarship-program/power-of-inclusion-scholarship.html) about this additional opportunity for two students to be awarded $10,000 each. ### **Timeline** - Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021—application period begins - Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 (11:59 p.m. Central time)—application period closes - April 2022—2 recipients selected and notified - June 2022—initial payments made to recipients’ universities for 2022/2023 academic year ###**Who is eligible?** The program is open to legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old, full-time students with a 3.0 GPA or above at an accredited college or university, and two years from final graduation with a bachelor's or master's degree in business or technology. Applicants must be part of a historically underrepresented racial or ethnic population, including but not limited to: Black or African American, Hispanic or of Latin descent, Native American, Pacific Islander or Asian American. ###Who is not eligible? Any employee, owner, intern (and immediate family members) of RSM US LLP, RSM US Wealth Management LLC, Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLC, and their respective affiliated entities (collectively, "RSM") and of the foundation are not eligible. ### Questions?
