Job Summary
As a strong communicator, team player, and a multitasker, this individual will perform high level accounting functions, including, but not limited to, all aspects of managing cash flow, budgeting, financial reporting, supervising and managing the full scope of accounting functions, from payroll to tax compliance. This position reports to the senior executives of Moorman Transportation.
Controller's Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Manage all facets of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivables, budgeting, reconciliation of all accounts, and various special accounting projects.
Monitor all cash and funding balances daily.
Execute the quarterly/annual budgets, and develop financial forecasts for the owner.
Direct the compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and taxes.
Controller Job Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
Ideal candidates will have 5 to 10 years of experience in Accounting.
Must have Accounting managerial skills.
Multitasking ability with attention to detail
Proficiency in QuickBooks is ESSENTIAL
