A one-time bonus of $1,000 will be offered to new hires paid over a 6-month period; $500 after 30 days of employment and $500 after 6 months of continuous employment. Also, $500 paid upon completion of 1-year continuous employment.

Job Description:
Safely operate a sit down forklift, verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment. Duties include shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material, computer skills, ability to effectively use scanning equipment and arranging for the transportation of products. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and must be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime. Work schedule: The plant operates 24/7 with 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am) on a 2-2-3 shift schedule. This position will be on night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload trailers
• Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report
• Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
• Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received
• Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded
• Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
• Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment
• Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
• Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years forklift experience required
• Previous forklift operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required
• A background as an order picker is preferred
• Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred
• Know what a monotrol pedal is and how it operates
• Be able to multitask in a very fast paced environment
• Be computer literate and operate RF scanning equipment
• High school diploma / GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Drug screen, background/reference check and health screening required
• Must pass AON Operations Test
Compensation: $22.62/hour + shift differential if applicable
