PacArctic, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a full time Electronic Technician to support PAC and our government customer in the Fort Worth, TX area.

The Electronic Technician will have an in-depth knowledge and application of mechanical, electrical, and electronic procedures and will possess at least an associate degree in electronic or electrical instrumentation, or equivalent. The Electronic Technician will be available at least during the Day shift hours between 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except Federal holidays or when the BEP WCF is closed for administrative reasons.
Responsibilities will include:
• Performing a variety of duties involved in reloading, trouble shooting, repairing, modifying, testing, calibrating, maintaining integrated electronics and integrated logic, installing mechanical, electrical, electronic and pneumatic instruments, electronic components and assemblies, and the calibration of precision measurement and control equipment.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing necessary repairs on all electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing necessary repairs on the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system.
• Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measurement equipment.
• Conducting a continuous preventive maintenance program on all instrumentation including regular calibration.
• Installing new and modifying existing, electronic, pneumatic, and minor electrical systems.
• Maintaining required records and logbooks.
• Serve as a member of the plant spill response team and responsible for containment and clean up hazardous spills of 55 gallons or less.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily outdoors and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; bend, stoop, climb; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to stand or sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs independently and lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
