Your Opportunity
In Cloud Delivery and Engineering (CDE), we provide private and public cloud services combined with full scale operations capabilities. This enables the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes with high availability, scalability, and compliance. Our Public Cloud teams are migrating applications over from on premise. Do you have experience as an application software developer or as a public cloud domain authority who has migrated applications to public cloud and want to move to Product Ownership? This position would be a great fit.
What you are good at
• You will translate the product vision into specific work you're doing, and ensure stringency in execution and attention to detail by effectively managing the product feature backlog
• You will manage public cloud application enablement mini teams, from initial onboarding engagements, to final production readiness reviews with Application teams
• You will collaborate to create well-documented, repeatable processes around product development and application enablement
• You will support application team issues as the main public cloud interface for assigned products
• You will recognize and prioritize risks and create reasonable mitigation plans
• You will champion Agile methodologies, leading and participating in the product owner activities including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos
• You will work multi-functionally and horizontally with technical, design, business, operations, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and issue management
What you have
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field required
• 5+ years’ experience in software development and product owner/manager or project manager through education and/or experience
• 3+ years leadership experience (project lead and/or technical lead on large projects)
• Deep understanding of SDLC, SRE (site reliability engineering), Production Support concepts
• High level understanding of software application architecture through previous software development experience
