The Application Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting corporate applications, including security, specifically, but not limited to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and PBCS. This role will resolve technical issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements and departmental expectations. The position contributes and supports with new and existing projects and deployments.
Essential Functions:
• Provides front line support for end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-specific issues.
• Critically understand company’s applications.
• Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming calls, voicemail, e-mail and in-person requests in a professional, customer-centric manner.
• Manage service tickets promptly and within established SLAs.
• Manage end user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Modify system configuration settings and basic maintenance; recommend best practices and maintenance regime for assigned systems based on functionality, vendor recommendations, and business needs.
• Monitor system and application availability and performance information.
• Communicate maintenance and patch schedules to appropriate user groups.
• Understand patch scope and perform any necessary duties to assist with maintenance, upgrade and patches.
• Work within Company change control and IT security policies.
• Conduct internal audits for roles and access.
• Create and maintain application documentation as required.
• Establishes job automation using scripts and other tools.
• May be required to be on call during critical times.
• Collaborate and communicate well with both technical and business team members at all levels within the company.
• Deliver excellent customer service to users using good communication skills in a sympathetic manner.
• Provide effective training to users as required.

Requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in production application administration experience and end user desktop support in an office environment.
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5+ year’s equivalent experience.
• Experience in application support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (GL, AP, AR, FA, etc.) and PBCS system.
• Knowledge or experience in Accounting is a plus.
• Employee has to be self-motivated and self-starter, with the initiative to see issue resolution through to completion. Direction provided will be mid-level and focused on the tasks and projects to be worked on with defined deadlines that must be met.
• Ability to diagnose problems, define, resolve and coordinate the implementation of solutions.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Adept at reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
• Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to communicate with immediate supervisor and other team members in order to receive/direct all work instructions and express any questions or concerns as required.
• Knowledge in hospitality is a plus.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to a high quality of work.
• Demonstrated competency to learn new technical skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products and working within ticket management systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
