You Will Be Responsible For:
•    Strengthens and optimizes the workflow effort, advising on optimum structures and helping to build-out dedicated teams and deliverables for practice operations
•    Develops, implements and optimizes clinical and administrative processes
•    Works closely with a variety of functional groups who are responsible for project or deal execution, to refine and develop processes
•    Partners with quality, clinical informatics, population health and other clinical teams to collaborate and develop business processes, team/project governance methodologies and best practices
•    Partners with practice operations teams to optimize clinical workflows in practices
•    Partners with population health  team in monitoring clinical quality.  Works with population health  and operations to modify workflows as necessary to meet quality goals.
•    Acts as a lead in organizing clinical and workflow activities, project due diligence and integration
•    Helps shape early workflow planning and further refinements as necessary
•    Facilitates project activities, identifies resource requirements, articulates deliverables and develops timetables in partnership with the quality and clinical informatics’ team
•    Implements the strategic plan for the organization’s value-based, transformative changes necessary to remain successful in the face of healthcare's evolving, complex changes
•    Builds tactical plans for improving the quality of electronic medical records via Athena and/or all related software to improve care in the clinics
•    Oversees the planning and implementation of education, training and communication associated with the deployment and continued success of new quality initiatives
•    Identifies clinical integration opportunities
•    Oversees the medical group risk management area, works collaboratively with the AH system risk team, and coordinates communication and processes necessary to ensure compliance to risk management accountabilities
•    Supervises safety protocols and environment of care within clinical practices
What You Will Need:
•    Business and clinical operations experience (hospital and practice clinics) and subject matter expertise on Value Based Care, care management and analytics
•    Possesses excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
•    Knowledge of medical technology and terminology
•    Experience in finance and accounting skills with regards to the oversight of a departmental budget.
•    Data analysis and critical thinking
•    Exceptional organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines
•    Ability to work independently and lead teams focused on specific work streams of large projects
•    Ability to develop positive working relationships with members of multiple teams
•    Highly professional with excellent customer service skills
•    Bachelor's Degree required
•    5 years leadership experience
•    Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Information Sciences, Business, Computer Systems or related field
•    Prefer Five years’ management experience in a hospital or physician group practice environment
•    Prefer RN or above licensure
•    Prefer Master’s degree in Healthcare, Health Sciences, Business or related field
Six Sigma Certification
Licensed as a RN or related medical professional in the State of Florida
Job Summary:
The Director of Strategic Clinical Initiatives, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), is responsible for partnering with a variety of functional groups to refine and develop processes while creating and driving the strategic plans for the organization’s value-based, transformative changes necessary to remain successful in the face of healthcare's evolving, complex changes.  This position is also responsible for overseeing the tactical planning necessary for the successful clinical education, training, system integration, deployment and reporting associated with all systems that ensure high quality care, safety and risk mitigation.  Ensures a safe environment of care within clinical practices.
