Full Job Description Parts Associates are the main driving force in keeping the Parts Department functioning and fulfilling customer orders. From pulling orders, loading vehicles, putting away inventory, and more, this is a role that allows you to move and everyday is a little different. If that sounds like something you would like in a job, this can be a great role for you.
Responsibilities Can Include
1. Fill customer orders from inventory and process as indicated on the picking list .
2. Receive, Check in, and Process incoming shipments from vendors.
3. Put away inventory in the appropriate bin location and insure that all parts are properly labeled.
4. Check in all incoming inter-branch shipments from all branches.
5. Update incoming stock and incoming inter-branch shipment packing slips in computer and generate appropriate picking lists and reports.
6. Operating forklift to handle oversize or heavy inventory.
7. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
8. Must be willing and able to walk 3+ miles a shift.
Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• If required to drive, for any reason, on behalf of the company, must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurance guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
• Computer literate with the willingness to learn the software programs utilized by the Company.
